New Goalrilla Basketball Goals Bring New Life to Tepe Park

We believe basketball is about more than the game. It's about bringing people together, creating lasting memories, and strengthening communities. That's why we were proud to donate two Goalrilla Fixed Height Perforated Steel basketball goals to Tepe Park in Evansville, Indiana, helping provide a space where youth, families, and neighbors can connect through play.

The impact of the new goals was felt almost immediately.

According to Eric Tillman, Neighborhood Development Director at Community One, the installation has already become a catalyst for community engagement and neighborhood pride.

"The goals had an immediate impact on our youth, families, and our neighborhood pride. We are excited to know that these courts will create memories that will last for a lifetime, and we appreciate you all being a part of that process," said Tillman.

The upgraded courts have become a gathering place for people of all ages.

Youth and adults alike are enjoying the opportunity to play on high-quality basketball goals, while the improved space serves as a visible reminder that Tepe Park is a place worth investing in.

Reconnecting residents with the park. 

"Having new courts brought out people that hadn't engaged in events in the park in years, so it was definitely impactful in more ways than a few," said Tillman.

The investment extended beyond the goals themselves. The Evansville Parks Department carefully installed both systems, ensuring they met regulation height standards and were built to provide years of dependable play.

"It feels good to come to the court and know that we have good quality goals,” said Tillman. “The Parks Department installed them with such care and made sure that they were regulation height and done the right way."

For many residents, the donation represents more than a court upgrade. It symbolizes momentum, community pride, and a commitment to the future of the neighborhood.

"This was a huge win for the neighborhood and a morale booster for us all," he said.
