Goalrilla donates Fixed Height Basketball Hoops to local Middle School
When the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation reached out to Goalrilla Basketball about the possibility of donating a new basketball court for McGary Middle School, our hearts immediately responded with, "How many can we help with?" We understand how crucial it is to support local schools surrounding our facilities and feel honored to be part of this community. Goalrilla was thrilled to donate four brand new Goalrilla Fixed Height Basketball Hoops with perforated steel backboards. School officials shared that this gift means the world to the kids and the entire community. Knowing that children are using the new hoops every chance they get— even playing late into the evening, brings us immense joy. It creates a safe space for them to connect, stay active, and build lifelong friendships. We love seeing the positive difference sports can make and that is what Goalrilla Basketball is all about.
Goalrilla Brand Manager, Emily Patton, states, “At Goalrilla Basketball, our motto is to ‘Dream Bigger Than Your Driveway,’ whether that is making your high school varsity team, playing in college, or even going pro! To do that you have to start dreaming and have the equipment that can take you there.”
The Goalrilla Fixed Height Basketball Hoops are the perfect basketball goal for any type of residential or commercial setting and are available in a glass backboard or a steel perforated backboard. The steel perforated backboard is ideal for applications that may be concerned with vandalism to glass backboards. This hoop is specifically designed for settings where you choose not to lower the basketball hoop below 10' and comes complete with a basketball pole pad, backboard padding, and anchor kit. Rugged steel is used throughout our basketball hoops, providing the uncompromising strength of Goalrilla. Our Fixed Height Hoops are strong and durable to withstand outdoor elements for years; they are also backed by a limited lifetime warranty. To protect the steel of the basketball goal, our hoops are covered in powder-coating for ultimate rust and UV protection, maintaining the performance and look of the basketball goal so you can keep dreaming bigger than your driveway
Goalrilla’s donation comes through the EVSC Foundation's Adopt-a-School program. Now, the McGary Middle School students are enjoying 4 new Goalrilla basketball goals in their basketball courts in the back of the school! According to McGary Middle School, “the courts are now buzzing with activity and, fostering a vibrant community spirit as students play until the sun sets. This kind of community partnership makes a real difference in our students' lives.”
Although the basketball court is available to the whole community, the EVSC Foundation offers alumni and the community an avenue to support excellence in education and programs in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. We are proud to have done this through their Adopt-a-School program.
“We are so excited to be able to give the highest quality pro-style basketball hoops to the kids and community surrounding McGary Middle School! I’ve seen firsthand how much sports can change your life positively and now that can experience that too with new basketball goals,” Emily Patton explained.
